Washington’s Dog Friendly Beaches

Sand Point Magnuson Park Dog Off-Leash Beach and Area
7400 Sand Point Way NE Seattle, Washington
Your dogs can romp in Seattle's biggest fully-fenced back yard for canines at the park. This doggie off-leash area is the only one inside city limits with water access (Lake Washington's freshwater shoreline). This nine-acre dog friendly park has a winding trail, several open areas and changes of scenery along the way. This park gives dogs of all ages plenty of space to "work it out." Most of the trail is compact gravel and is wheelchair accessible.

San Juan Island National Historical Park
650 Mullis St Friday Harbor, Washington
Orca whales and bald eagles abound here, as do more than 200 species of birds navigating the Pacific flyway. Dogs on leash are allowed at South Beach, which is located at the American Camp in the San Juan Island National Historic Park. Dogs on leash with cleanup are allowed in the rest of this national park. Accessed by plane or ferry rides that allow cars and boats on it.
