The name is a little deceiving since the beach is only open to dogs from Friday-Sunday. This beach is about 100 yard. Dogs must be on leash when they are not in the water.
Annual permits are for $25 for residents and $40 for non-residents or you can get a one-weekend permit for $5.65.

Hugh Taylor Birch State Park

This park is an oasis of tropical hammocks and a gift from Hugh Taylor Birch to Florida's posterity. Taylor’s former estate preserves four distinct natural communities along the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Dogs must be leashed while you walk along two short trails and learn about local plants and wildlife.
